Third-party code in Landee
Last updated: 5 September 2026
Landee was not built by our hands alone. Some of what you see on a page was written by other people who allowed us to use it — on the condition that we name them and keep the text of their permission intact. That is what this page is for.
It is not a contract and asks nothing of you. But when you publish a page on Landee, that borrowed code travels with it to your visitors — so you are entitled to know whose it is and on what terms.
The licence texts below are reproduced verbatim, in the original English. That is deliberate. A licence is binding in the words its author wrote; a translated permission is a retelling of a permission, and neither you nor we could safely rely on it.
Animations and effects — React Bits
reactbits.dev — a collection of animated components by David Haz.
From there come the animated page backgrounds (aurora, lightning, particles, waves and others) and text effects such as the ribbon running along a curve. We adapted them: to our palettes, to page weight, and to stopping the motion when a visitor has asked their system to keep things still.
The licence permits using these components inside your own product, including commercially, but forbids selling or redistributing the components themselves — alone, bundled, or ported. For Landee that means something simple: we may draw your pages with them, and we may not sell them as a library.

Fonts
The fonts are delivered through Fontsource; the typefaces themselves were made by various authors and released under free licences.
They are listed here for a reason, not for completeness. A font is the one item on this page downloaded by every visitor of every published site: the file travels with the page, and so does the obligation to carry its licence.

Write to us — that is a mistake, and we will fix it. The list above is checked automatically against what is actually installed in the application, but automation only sees what it knows how to look for.
